Yang Seung-ho, a ceramist and eco-artist who works between Europe and Korea, believes that the most perfect form comes from nature. He creates his works by feeling the earth with his entire body.

Yang Seung-ho contrasts the pure fire with the properties of clay and the nature of fire, using ceramics to express the intrinsic beauty of nature. The artist conveys the concept of cyclical transformation in his works, embodying the idea that "a fireball falling from the sun cools to become stone, and over time, the eroded stone turns into earth, which then, through the action of fire, regenerates into stone."

In 1983, he received the title "The Potter as a Gardener" during a solo exhibition at the Wales Museum in the UK. He also held exhibitions on the theme "The Spirit of Nature" at the Hupfingen Museum in Germany and at the Moulins Art Museum in France in 1998. Every August, he organizes a pottery festival at his studio in Montigny, central France, where ceramists from around the world gather.
